My engine repair

Hello!

I'm going to repair my engine by myself later this year for the first time and i will need som help, as I use my ape as my main transportation I really need for it to work.
I'm really thankful for all the help I can get.

My first thought is, how do I lift my ape from the ground?
Any tips?

for your first question, i think the best way to lift up your ape is something like this:

Hi Andreas,

some palettes make a quite comfortable Ape stand as you can see here:

But you need a forklifter to get the Ape up there...

I don't have forklift unfortunately, Maybe I can use four jack stands? but I don't know if it would damage anything.

If you navigate to the first pages of the palettes link above, you can see my first attemp with a single palette and a smaller lifter. It worked but it was a pain in the butt to work that low...

By the way: if you like to see what the motor looks like when split, there are a lot of pictures at the same place.

My working area for the engine getting better, much boxes and crap is gone but still much to be done before I start to work on the engine.

I want to have more space and more organised and comfortable.
